After School Bookclub!

BOOKS 3:30PM- 4:30PM
One Thursday afternoon a month, a dedicated
group of young bibliophiles (4th, 5th & 6th Graders) come in to TLC. The next half an hour if full of
intense debate about the book of the month, life, and yes, even superhero
tap-dancing cockroaches call Harold. Fuelled by biscuits and cordial, we delve deep into
worlds where everyone is a mouse, Grandma X isn’t the type to bake cookies, and
there is more to a music box that meets the eye.
The after school book club is great fun and
will gladly accept all types. Reluctant reader to book obsessed, read one page
or the whole book three times over, we accept all those young lost souls
needing to share their passion for books and reading. If you’ve ever read a
book and wished that there was someone that you could talk to about it, discuss
favourite characters, the ending and whether you would rather be able to fly or
be invisible, this is the club for you.
Jealous? Wishing that you too could become
a part of this magical world? You should be. However, there is an easy fix.
Simply come along to the next book club, and get ready for fun!
Red cordial and biscuits will be provided!
