Monday the 14th of November at 3.30pm author Aleesah Darlison will introduce readers to the Unicorn Riders!
 
In this wonderfully creative session, Aleesah shows children how she developed her characters and built the world of Avamay in her exciting fantasy series, Unicorn Riders.

She then leads participants through exercises to create and draw mythical creatures, build brave new worlds, draw maps and start their own stories.

Aleesah Darlison writes picture books and novels for children and reviews books for The Sun Herald. Aleesah has always loved unicorns and as a child she has collected unicorn figurines. Writing the The Unicorn Riders series has been a dream of Aleesah’s for a long time and she is excited for modern readers fall in love with unicorns too.
The event is free but places are limited.

What goes best with coffee? Crochet of course! Come and join our new casual group on Sunday afternoon, 3.30pm November 13th for coffee, chat and guided crochet :)
 
Never crocheted before? come along and learn. Can turn a mean hook? come along and make something fun :) We will be making a cute little critter from the book "Easy Crochet Critters: 10 Amigurumi Designs".

The cost is $25.00 pp and includes coffee, cake, crochet hook, yarn and a copy of the book! (total value of $35.00)
